We’re taught from birth to put others first. There’s nothing wrong with this. It’s the way you remember to serve and not constantly focus on yourself. One thing to remember…
You matter too!
This is why settling for less and minimal growth won’t serve you or others. You’ve heard these sayings before….
“Not enough month at the end of my money.”
“Broke as a joke.”
“I can’t afford it.”
A friend of mine calls this mindset, “Survivalist Thinking.” Somewhere along the road to success we learned to settle for less. Here are 3 ways to boost your mindset for better results in your business, job and life.
Tip #1: Use “Increase Thinking”
Bob Harrison is known as “Dr. Increase.” He’s the guy who teaches bible-based business principles. He said something once I’ll never forget. “Your YES is out there.”
Start using this mindset to recognize and enjoy the opportunities for increase around you. I’m using it already and it works!
Tip #2: Be Honest About Your Wants
Yes, you have needs, but what do you want? Sometimes your wants and needs are the same thing. Either way, be honest about them. Don’t suppress the abundance hiding inside you. List out what you want and go for it!
Tip #3: Ask for More
Hey, it worked for “Tiny Tim”, so it will work for you! Most of the time we don’t have what we want, because we don’t ask for more of it. Try it. I used to ask for two coins to pop into the massage chair where I work out.
Using “increase thinking” I asked for three coins. The result? Extra time in the massage chair! I never thought to ask for more coins. What a concept! Stop settling for less my friend. You deserve more than you know.
